After the foundation of the club back in 1987, it was a natural progression after scrambles to run classic trials as well.  Since then our trials have been well supported, with an average of five trials a year and entries averaging 50/70 riders. We run five classes (Rigid, Pre-Unit, Unit, Twinshock, Air Cooled Mono, Modern Mono (riders over 60 years old) and three routes (Expert, Clubman & Gentlemans) so that all rider / machine abilities are catered for.

There is a footpath crossing the land which we will notify the public of the event being run, but please be respecfull to dog walkers and ramblers.

Due to restricted access (ropes, stakes and marshal points) on the Scramble track we have laid 8 sections out, so the trial will be over 4 observed laps. 'A' Expert (Red/Blue) and 'B' Clubmen (white) routes, along with the 'Gentlemans' route (ride in and out of the entry/exit gates).

Trials: Emborough Ponds Trial, March 29th 2020

Sunday 29th March 2020
Emborough Ponds, BA3 4SF

The venue is a short distance (1/2 mile) from the A37 B3139 junction (Old Down Inn), and will be signed with orange pennants from that junction.

Please do not ride on any part of the drive leading to the landowners house before the start. Parking is in the field at the top of the drive, the fence has been removed for access.

Keep to the tracks between sections, the venue is an old quarry with some deep holes and very boggy areas can catch you out.

The caterer will be there from before the start with drinks and hot food, this will be available throughout the trial and afterwards.

We look forward to seeing you all at this event, anyone willing to observe will be very welcome!
